10 months!

Holy smokes how did my baby get to be 10 months old! She is getting so big, and along with getting bigger comes a bigger personality! She is starting to throw mini temper tantrums when she gets taken away from something that she wants to play with, mostly the remote control and the dishwasher...wierdo. Here is what else she has been up to this past month:
     - she stands up on EVERYTHING!
     - she cruises around the coffee table like she is running in a track meet.
     - she loves her new y-bike that she uses as a walker right now.
     - she had her first Christmas in Indiana where she also experienced her first snow!
     - she still loves to dance and currently loves the song "bubble gum" from a CD Nana gave her!
     - she still mostly says "dada" but is now saying "mama" with her tongue sticking out.
     - she claps, waves and smacks her lips.
     - she has taken a couple steps by herself but quickly falls to her knees...but she has mastered the stairs...yikes!
     - her favorite food at the moment is peas and of course puffs.

Here are some pictures, enjoy!

8/9 months!

The last 2 months have flown by and I can't believe how much Charlotte has changed and continues to change. We just had our 9 month appointment. No shots thank goodness! She was 27.95 inches, and 16 lbs! She is just above 50th percentile for height and 15th percentile for weight. My little string bean!

So, I guess we have to start back to October! That was a fun month. Charlotte was still not crawling, but doing "the worm" (up on all fours then fall forward, up on all fours then fall forward...not the most efficient, but it got her from point A to B.) We went to Dewberry Farms with our friends Heather and Jesse and got lost in a corn maze and looked at the pumpkins. It was HOT that day, but we had a good time! We had professional pictures taken this month also. Charlotte was not in the mood to smile of course, but we got some cute pictures! The week of Halloween Charlotte had her Halloween party at story time...she was one cute ladybug!

November, Charlotte turned 8 months and finally started to crawl on all fours! And, of course she did it while I was cleaning the kitchen and Dad was playing with her upstairs... I just hear "SHE'S CRAWLING!" being yelled and I raced upstairs! That was a fun night! The next day we baby proofed the house. We had Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Stevenson's house. We had a great time! Charlotte had cranberries for the first time, which she gave the best sour face and spit them out. She's not a fan. Charlotte also got her two bottom teeth finally! No real signs of teething, just one day I was feeding her and she bit down on my finger, ouch there's a tooth! Then the next week, tooth number two appeared! Fingers crossed all her teeth come in without any teething pain!

Charlotte still loves to dance and sing! She has started to point at things and wave hello! She has the pincer grasp down and has started to eat puffs! When Buddy barks I guess I always say "Buddy, shh!" and now she says "shh" when she sees buddy or any other dog. It's really funny! She pulls herself up on everything and loves to walk holding on to mom and dad's fingers. We are looking forward to her first Christmas in Indiana! Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
