Happy half birthday Charlie!! She was 13 pounds 4 ounces and 26 inches long at 5 months and 2 weeks old, and finally on the growth chart for weight! She is such a ham these days. She dances when you sing shoo fly don't bother me (or moo cow don't bother me, my own rendition haha). She has serious conversations full of squeals and bubbles, and will wait for a response and then begin talking again. She started to sit up by herself at 5 months and 3 weeks old! And she is trying so hard to crawl but usually ends up really frustrated, poor baby! Her favorite game is peek-a-boo and laughs hysterically! She still loves Sophie the giraffe, but also loves her crinkle books! She has started to gently scratch everything, including my side while she's eating....it takes all I have not to laugh! This past weekend she had a bunch of firsts! She tried a real food, Avocado! Not a fan...hilarious picture to follow. She went to the park for the first time and tried out the swings. She went swimming with mommy and daddy and LOVED every minute. The splash pad was too splashy, she's not a fan yet. She went to No Label brewery and "watched" (no screen time until she is 2) her first Purdue game! We gave her a play by play :).
